Privacy policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
Counting Horse is an educational YouTube channel about AI. This policy covers this website (countinghorse.com) and Counting Horse Tools, the channel's own publishing software.
This website
- It is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no forms, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking.
- It does not place, read, or recognize cookies, and it stores nothing on your device.
- It is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site. See the Vercel Privacy Policy.
Counting Horse Tools (YouTube API Services)
Counting Horse Tools is used only by the channel's owner, to manage the Counting Horse channel. It is not offered to the public, and it never signs in to anyone else's account.
What it accesses, only for the Counting Horse channel and only after the owner signs in with Google:
- The channel's own videos and their details: titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, captions, playlists, privacy and publish settings, and upload status.
- The channel's YouTube Analytics and Reporting data: aggregated numbers such as views, watch time, subscribers gained, impressions and click-through rate, traffic sources, and search terms. YouTube aggregates these reports; they do not identify individual viewers.
- Public comments on the channel's own videos, read to find viewers' questions and reported errors.
Other channels: it also reads public information about other channels and their videos through YouTube API Services, such as titles, lengths and view counts, to research what to make next. That needs no sign-in, and it is deleted or refreshed within 30 days like the rest.
How it uses that information: to upload and schedule the channel's videos, keep their details and captions correct, and decide which lessons to make next. It does not sell, rent, or share this information with anyone, and it does not use it for advertising.
Third-party content: neither Counting Horse Tools nor this website lets third parties serve content or advertisements. (Ads shown on YouTube itself are run by YouTube under its own policies.)
Storage on devices: Counting Horse Tools runs on the owner's computer. It stores the Google sign-in token and the data described above on that computer and in the owner's private backup of it. It places no cookies on anyone's device.
Retention and deletion: data received from YouTube API Services is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, as YouTube's developer policies require. If you want data about you deleted (for example, a comment of yours that we stored), contact us and we will delete it within 7 days.
Revoking access: anyone who signed in to Counting Horse Tools can revoke its access at any time from the Google security settings page: security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
